What makes our network the superior choice for M2M and
emerging solutions?

When it comes to deciding on a network, you'll undoubtedly notice that most Tier 1 carriers tout essentially the same benefits and make the same claims. So allow us to set the record straight on what sets Sprint above the rest.

Sprint gives you the flexibility of a multi-networking approach utilizing iDEN, CDMA (1xRTT) and 3G wireless networks along with our award-winning IP network. And only Sprint brings you the first wireless 4G network from a national carrier.

Through our existing data roaming agreements, we offer customers the ability to access wireless data service in more than 150 countries around the world. And when it comes to Europe, no other wireless carrier - not ATT, not Verizon, not T-Mobile - offers a ubiquitous global solution with seamless coverage across the different countries, different carriers, and different technologies (GSM and CDMA) for M2M applications.

Here are a few more facts you should know about Sprint.

  • Sprint serves 48.1M wireless subscribers today and more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies
  • Sprint ranks #1 in overall satisfaction for wireless voice and data services among large business customers, and #1 in wireless voice service pricing and data service pricing among small and medium business customers.
  • Sprint's voice and data networks provide higher quality than AT&T or T-Mobile (based on signal strength, data uplink speeds and latency)
  • Sprint offers nearly twice the coverage of AT&T's 3G network (based on square miles). Sprint 3G network covers nearly 1 ½ times more cities than AT&T's 3G network
  • Sprint's 3G network offers 10 times the coverage of T-Mobile's current 3G network (based on square miles).
  • According to PC World magazine, "No one has a more reliable network than Sprint based on a recent 13 city 3G performance test"
  • Sprint was awarded four Atlantic-ACM awards in March of 2009, including recognition as "number one for wholesale data quality"

PC World Claim: PC World's test included Sprint, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile in thirteen major cities in all regions of the country during December 2009 & January 2010. In all, roughly 9,000 individual tests of Sprint's 3G service were conducted from 280 testing locations in 13 cities. Testing sessions were one minute in duration per location, and network performance can be highly variable from neighborhood to neighborhood. In laptop-based tests, Sprint tied with another carrier for first in 3G network reliability.
