The LA Auto Show’s Press Days Expo was a world stage for important vehicle and industry announcements, which include more than 40 debuts, plus dozens of technology and business announcements. This allowed us to introduce Sprint Velocity to journalists and industry leaders from 50+ countries – with the press conference led by Wayne Ward, vice president-Emerging Solutions. He was also joined in a full day of individual media briefings by Sprint representatives Mike Bray, Tom Nelson and Tim Johnson.

On Nov. 29, Sprint formally debuted Sprint Velocity℠ – a comprehensive global end-to-end solution designed specifically for vehicle manufacturers.
Sprint is pioneering the role of mobile integrator. While many offer telematics, or systems integration, only Sprint brings all that together with an expertise in wireless customer experience, customer relationship management and wireless applications on a global basis. It is an evolution of our core business.
Sprint Velocity is helping automakers more easily integrate the complex components and vendor relationships required to provide connected services. Those connected services include infotainment (news, weather, sports), security, navigation, remote connections for mobile devices, emergency services and engine diagnostics.
Sprint integrates the core capabilities of the platform with the head unit and mobile phone apps, and then combines data analytics with customer relationship management to allow automakers to deliver a robust connected experience to their end customers.
